Easy On Hold® streaming continues to work with Semperon systems using the same standards-based streaming approach previously supported on Voneto solutions. Voneto built its communications services around open-source Asterisk technology and custom integrations, making live music-on-hold streaming a natural fit. Semperon continues that flexible approach with hosted and cloud PBX solutions, allowing compatible systems to use an Easy On Hold® live stream instead of relying solely on uploaded audio files.

How to Set Up Streaming Hold Music on SEMPERON
Request a custom Easy On Hold® stream, share the stream URL with Semperon support, then assign it across call groups as needed.
Request a custom stream
With your Easy On Hold® account, request a custom stream from EOH, controlled by your user portal, which manages all content and programming in the live stream. The EOH streaming server sends http (or https) streams of audio directly into the Voneto platform. Manage your stream content from a personalized control panel. Changes are heard immediately on the stream, or can be scheduled with custom start and stop dates.
Provide the stream URL to Semperon support
Provide the URL of your EOH stream to Semperon support for implementation.
Assign streams to call groups
Streaming audio content can be shared across multiple call groups, or uniquely assigned to each of many call groups (sales, support, regions, etc.) Note, multiple streams can be used for various queues. Consult with Semperon support on this.
Once the stream is connected, content is managed from the Easy On Hold® portal. You do not load audio files into the SEMPERON phone system.
